David Kaschube vs Alphonse Margreiter

Boxing Daily Report from the Hotstepper Promotions promoted show at Vienna Zerboni, Vienna,  taking place on 13/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Kaschube (24(19) - 2(1)) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Alphonse Margreiter(18 - 10(2) - 4) from Graz, Austria.  Kaschube weighed in at 200 pounds, while Margreiter weighed in at 199 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dale Schankiewitsch, and the three ringside judges are Jansen Iseman, Meinyard Malicki and Brendis Kampert.  

Round 1: 

Kaschube closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kaschube holds on to his opponent.  Kaschube is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kaschube is on target with a hard jab.  
Kaschube is on target with a left hook.  
Kaschube digs in a right hook to Margreiter's ribcage.  Kaschube holds on to his opponent.  Kaschube pushes his forearm into Margreiter's face.  The ref breaks Kaschube's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kaschube walks Margreiter down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Kaschube lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kaschube holds on to his opponent.  Kaschube pushes his forearm into Margreiter's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kaschube.  
Kaschube lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kaschube lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kaschube lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS MARGREITER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Margreiter almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kaschube pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kaschube drives a solid left hook into Margreiter's ribs.  
Margreiter attempts to land a left hook, but Kaschube sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kaschube gets on the inside.  Kaschube sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kaschube lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kaschube ties up his opponent.  Kaschube leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kaschube's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kaschube sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Kaschube hits home with a weighty left hook.  MARGREITER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kaschube clinches his opponent.  Kaschube is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Margreiter quickly recovers. 
Kaschube is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kaschube steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kaschube closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kaschube slams a spiteful right hook into Margreiter's ribcage.  MARGREITER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Kaschube lands a solid right hook.  
Kaschube drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Kaschube holds on to his opponent.  Kaschube leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Kaschube uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Margreiter's kidney. 
Kaschube gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Margreiter's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Margreiter's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Margreiter steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Kaschube slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Margreiter pivots to the right of his opponent.  Margreiter tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARGREITER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Margreiter recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kaschube gets on the inside.  Kaschube sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a DEVASTATING left hook.  MARGREITER IS HURT!  Margreiter quickly recovers. 
Kaschube lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kaschube digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Kaschube walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kaschube lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kaschube gets on the inside and is on target with a DEVASTATING left hook.  DOWN GOES MARGREITER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Kaschube closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Kaschube is on target with a big left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARGREITER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Kaschube could be enough to finish Margreiter!  Kaschube lands a hurtful left hook.  MARGREITER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Kaschube walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kaschube lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, DROPPING MARGREITER TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Margreiter can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Kaschube!
