Mick Subulwa vs Luc Pageau

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Edwin Imboela Stadium, Lusaka,  taking place on 21/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Subulwa (6(2) - 2) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Luc Pageau(17 - 10(2) - 1) from Daloa, Ivory Coast.  Subulwa weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Pageau weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Napoleon Nanyangwe, and the three ringside judges are Noah Mabwe, Rich Kabaghe and Onaedo Sampa.  

Round 1: 

Subulwa is looking to close the distance.  Pageau throws a left hook, but Subulwa clinches his opponent.  Subulwa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Subulwa connects with a firm right hook.  
Subulwa steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Subulwa lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Subulwa throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Subulwa is on target with a left hook.  Subulwa holds on to his opponent.  Subulwa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pageau dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pageau throws a left hook, but Subulwa clinches his opponent.  Subulwa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Subulwa to stop fouling.  
Subulwa forces Pageau to back into the ropes.  Subulwa hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Subulwa drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  Pageau wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Subulwa dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Subulwa is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Subulwa holds on to his opponent.  Subulwa pushes his forearm into Pageau's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Subulwa about fouling.  
Subulwa lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Pageau pivots to the right of his opponent.  Subulwa drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Subulwa steps inside.  Pageau pivots to the right of his opponent.  Subulwa drives a sharp left hook into Pageau's body.  
Subulwa drives a left hook into Pageau's liver.  
Subulwa forces Pageau to back into a corner.  Subulwa lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pageau quickly recovers. 
Subulwa is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Subulwa lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Subulwa digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Subulwa drives a left hook into Pageau's body.  
Subulwa lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Subulwa is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Subulwa hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Subulwa is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Pageau steps to the outside and is on target with a cross to Subulwa's body.  
Subulwa advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Subulwa ties up his opponent.  Subulwa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Subulwa steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Subulwa attempts to land a jab, but Pageau sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Subulwa advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Subulwa closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Subulwa lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Subulwa advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Subulwa pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Subulwa lands a right hook.  
Subulwa digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Subulwa pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Subulwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into Pageau's body.  
Subulwa cuts off the ring, trapping Pageau on the ropes.  Subulwa lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Subulwa ties up his opponent.  Subulwa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Subulwa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pageau could be stopped here, if Subulwa can find the right shot!  Subulwa whips in a big right hook to Pageau's body.  PAGEAU HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Subulwa lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, KNOCKING PAGEAU DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Pageau now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Subulwa pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Subulwa lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Subulwa is on target with a right hook to Pageau's body.  
Subulwa is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Subulwa lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
