Wu-pen Huie vs Manchu Kook

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Guangdong promoted show at Soluxe Hotel, Guangzhou,  taking place on 15/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Wu-pen Huie (20(7) - 5(3) - 2) who hails from Dongguan, China and Manchu Kook(13 - 8(1) - 5) from Shenzhen, China.  Huie weighed in at 237 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kook weighed in at 239 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Liang Ko, and the three ringside judges are Deshi Doo, Shing Jou and Xi-Wang Sheih.  

Round 1: 

Kook attempts to land a jab, but Huie dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Huie steps inside.  Kook pivots to the side of his opponent.  Huie digs in a stinging left hook to Kook's body.

Huie is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook to Kook's body.  Huie attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kook blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
