Valentin de Laclos vs Ives Himly

Boxing Daily Report from the Hamidou Promotions promoted show at Hamidou Gym, Garoua,  taking place on 15/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentin de Laclos (7(2) - 1) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Ives Himly(5 - 15(1) - 8) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both de Laclos and Himly weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Mbamba, and the three ringside judges are Waltier Moreau, Montrose Bourdelle and Senior Binoche.  

Round 1:

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as de Laclos dabs at his face checking for damage.

de Laclos senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Himly and just needs the right shot.  de Laclos connects with a HUGE right uppercut.  HIMLY IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  It looks like Himly has now recovered from that shot earlier.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Himly.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .
