Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Maple Syrup, Quebec City,  taking place on 15/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carvell Bernardis (12 - 18(1) - 5) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Cody Roby(17(1) - 5(1)) from Montreal, Canada.  Bernardis weighed in at 121 pounds and 1 ounces, while Roby weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Verrier Luna and Briant Sarraute.  

Round 1: 

Roby steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bernardis connects with a left hook.  
Roby advances into close range and walks Bernardis onto the ropes.  Roby lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bernardis pivots to the right of his opponent.  Roby is on target with a solid left hook to Bernardis's body.  
Bernardis tries to keep the action at long range.  Roby is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Roby steps inside and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Roby hits home with a cross.  
Roby is looking to close the distance and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Roby lands a jab.  Roby throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bernardis closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Roby on the ropes.  Roby lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bernardis tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Roby closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Roby lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Roby is looking to keep his distance.  Roby senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Roby lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND BERNARDIS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Roby lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING BERNARDIS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Bernardis cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Roby!
