Richard Abraham vs John Kendrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Smash Em Up Promotions promoted show at Andy Harding Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 15/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Abraham (6(1) - 0) who hails from Cardiff, UK and John Kendrick(7 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Abraham weighed in at 107 pounds and 1 ounces, while Kendrick weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Mark MacNevin, Terry Lyons and Dale Carrick.  

Round 1: 

Kendrick lands a stinging jab.

Abraham digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abraham tries to keep the action at long range.  Abraham feints a left hook, and then lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Abraham drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Abraham lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kendrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Abraham lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Abraham finds the target with a jab.  
Abraham quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Abraham hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Abraham lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Abraham tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Abraham drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Abraham lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Abraham lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Kendrick throws an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kendrick's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kendrick's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Abraham tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kendrick pivots to the side of his opponent.  Abraham connects with a left uppercut.  
Abraham lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS KENDRICK TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Abraham sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Abraham lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS KENDRICK!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Abraham!
