Xavier Belasco vs Ulises Custodio

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Estadio La Veranera, Leon,  taking place on 14/07/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Belasco (12(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Ulises Custodio(13 - 9(3) - 1) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Both Belasco and Custodio weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Retana, and the three ringside judges are Juan Pan, Carlos Parras and Nasario Nolasco.  

Round 1: 

Custodio attempts to land a jab, but Belasco sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Belasco gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Belasco closes the distance.  Belasco sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.

Belasco steps inside.  Belasco pivots from in front of his opponent.  Custodio throws a left uppercut, but Belasco ties up his opponent.  Belasco leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Belasco lands a spiteful left hook.  CUSTODIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Custodio quickly recovers.

Belasco advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Custodio recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Belasco is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Belasco attempts to land a cross, but Custodio sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Belasco is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Belasco feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Custodio steps away from his opponent.  Belasco lands a cross, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Belasco is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Custodio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Custodio's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
