Franco Salmeron vs Josh Kenley

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Showtime Gym, Miami,  taking place on 22/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Salmeron (6(3) - 2 - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Josh Kenley(5 - 12 - 4) from Des Moines, USA.  Salmeron weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kenley weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Carmona, and the three ringside judges are Sean Carmona, John Cook and Inigo Poyner.  

Round 1: 

Salmeron steps inside.  Salmeron pivots to the left of his opponent.  Salmeron connects with a right uppercut.  Salmeron ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Salmeron pushes his forearm into Kenley's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Salmeron.  
Salmeron pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Salmeron lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kenley hits home with a left uppercut.  Salmeron clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Salmeron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Salmeron switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Salmeron gets on the inside.  Salmeron pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Salmeron is looking to close the distance.  Salmeron pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kenley throws a left hook, but Salmeron holds on to his opponent.  Salmeron is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Salmeron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Salmeron cuts off the ring, trapping Kenley in a neutral corner.  Salmeron lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Salmeron sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Salmeron lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Salmeron holds on to his opponent.  Salmeron is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Salmeron pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Kenley steps inside.  Salmeron retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kenley accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Salmeron.  
Salmeron hits home with a right hook.  Salmeron throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Salmeron gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Salmeron lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Salmeron is on target with a left hook.  
Salmeron drives a solid left hook into Kenley's liver.  Salmeron clinches his opponent.  Salmeron is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Kenley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kenley throws a right hook, but Salmeron ties up his opponent.  Salmeron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Salmeron to stop holding.  
Kenley feints a left, and then is on target with a left hook to Salmeron's body.

Kenley is getting frustrated here.   He pushes his head into Salmeron's face...that looked intentional!  The ref halts the action and sends Salmeron to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Kenley and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.  
Salmeron is on target with a left hook.  
Salmeron drives a left hook into Kenley's body.  
Salmeron gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Salmeron lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Salmeron connects with a left hook.  
Salmeron closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kenley hits home with a right uppercut.  Kenley tries to land a left hook, but Salmeron sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Salmeron thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Kenley away.  Salmeron lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS KENLEY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Kenley now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Salmeron lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Salmeron pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a potent left hook to Kenley's ribs.  DOWN GOES KENLEY!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Kenley could be stopped here, if Salmeron can find the right shot!  Salmeron lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS KENLEY!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Kenley has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kenley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Salmeron is on target with a MASSIVE left hook.  KENLEY IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Salmeron!
