Eiji Ikeda vs Taro Tominaga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Ichikawa Matsunaga, Ichikawa,  taking place on 23/05/2031:

Clearly AI Japan-Chiba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Ikeda (6(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Taro Tominaga(8 - 13(2) - 2) from Funabashi, Japan.  Ikeda weighed in at 227 pounds And 2 ounces, while Tominaga weighed in at 211 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Tobe, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Ishimoto, Jun Usui and Yoshi Oh.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda connects with a sharp left hook.

Ikeda is on target with a left uppercut.  Ikeda clinches his opponent.  Ikeda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Ikeda pushes his forearm into Tominaga's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Tominaga steps away from his opponent.  Ikeda lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tominaga almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ikeda gets on the inside.  Ikeda pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ikeda lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES TOMINAGA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.

Ikeda feints a right hook, but Tominaga does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook.

Ikeda circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Tominaga is on target with a cross.  Tominaga tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tominaga steps to the outside.  Ikeda SLAMS a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  TOMINAGA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ikeda is looking to force the stoppage!  Ikeda is on target with a DESTRUCTIVE right hook.  TOMINAGA IS DOWN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ikeda!
