Hiro Uemura vs Iwao Sugimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Kure Matsuoka, Kure,  taking place on 23/05/2031:

Clearly AI Japan-Hiroshima have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiro Uemura (8 - 4) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Iwao Sugimoto(8 - 13 - 3) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Uemura weighed in at 238 pounds and 11 ounces, while Sugimoto weighed in at 248 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Sando, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Saito, Satoru Nishimoto and Ichiro Otani.  

Round 1: 

Uemura steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
