Blake Kigen vs Lakista Kimeu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/05/2031:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Blake Kigen (5 - 7 - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Lakista Kimeu(3 - 8) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Kigen and Kimeu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Yiampoy, and the three ringside judges are Jay Matiku, Connor Kamau and Lisimba Dalrymple.  

Round 1: 

Kimeu is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Kigen blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
