Joaquin Mareno vs Carlos Alvarado

Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Palacio de los Deportes, Bogota,  taking place on 04/07/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South American Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsSat, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Mareno (18 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Lima, Peru and Carlos Alvarado(23 - 13 - 1) from Bello, Colombia.  Mareno weighed in at 115 pounds, while Alvarado weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noe Orihuela, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Rebollar, Vicente Marrero and Nicandro Rogero.
