Luc Phalle vs Ace Tapie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Nord-Pas-de-Calais promoted show at Roubaix Cabal, Roubaix,  taking place on 21/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Nord-Pas-de-Calais Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luc Phalle (2 - 3 - 2) who hails from Lille, France and Ace Tapie(15(6) - 11(6) - 1) from Lille, France.  Phalle weighed in at 168 pounds, while Tapie weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Colar Delon, and the three ringside judges are Nicolas Reinier, Erec Tiozzo and Marshall Paquet.  

Round 1: 

Tapie closes the distance.  Phalle throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Tapie clinches his opponent.  Tapie pushes his forearm into Phalle's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tapie.  
Tapie is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Tapie clinches his opponent.  Tapie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tapie about fouling.  
Tapie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tapie advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Tapie holds on to his opponent.  Tapie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Phalle behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tapie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tapie manages to force Phalle into the blue corner.  Tapie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tapie holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tapie lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Phalle is on target with a left hook.  
Tapie hits home with a firm left uppercut.  Tapie ties up his opponent.  Tapie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tapie lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tapie lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Phalle almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tapie steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Tapie ties up his opponent.  Tapie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Tapie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tapie lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tapie steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Tapie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Phalle lands a cross.  
Phalle is on target with a jab.  
Phalle closes the distance.  Tapie lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Tapie is on target with a left hook to Phalle's body.  
Tapie lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tapie gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Tapie connects with a left uppercut.  
Tapie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tapie tries to land a right uppercut, but Phalle sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Phalle pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tapie drives a firm left hook into Phalle's ribs.  
Tapie manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tapie lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tapie is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Phalle's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Phalle's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Phalle's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Phalle's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Tapie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tapie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Tapie ties up his opponent.  Tapie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Phalle behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tapie to stop fouling.  
Tapie lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Phalle tries to land a cross, but Tapie sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Tapie lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tapie lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Phalle recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tapie lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Tapie holds on to his opponent.  Tapie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Tapie to stop holding.

Tapie walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tapie lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Tapie advances into close range.  Tapie pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
