Raul Bordiga vs Gianmarco Cossutta

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Catania Pesce, Catania,  taking place on 21/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raul Bordiga (19 - 9 - 4 - 1(NC)) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Gianmarco Cossutta(6 - 13 - 4) from Messina, Italy.  Bordiga weighed in at 160 pounds, while Cossutta weighed in at 159 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Domenici, and the three ringside judges are Mauro Cavallari, Rodolfo Candreva and Roberto Riva.  

Round 1:

Bordiga advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Bordiga.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
