Montenegro Abila vs Rodrigo Vegas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Rodrigo Olan Gym, Zapopan,  taking place on 26/05/2031:

Clearly AI Mexico-Jalisco have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montenegro Abila (8 - 10 - 4) who hails from Zapopan, Mexico and Rodrigo Vegas(7 - 4 - 1) from Zapopan, Mexico.  Abila weighed in at 226 pounds and 13 ounces, while Vegas weighed in at 226 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Alviso, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Machuca, Isidro Martinez and Onofre Cassillas.  

Round 1: 

Abila advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vegas finds the target with a jab.  
Abila quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vegas throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abila lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Vegas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Abila advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Abila walks Vegas down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abila lands a left hook.
