Vicente Medero vs Jose Merlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Fiesta Latina Centro Comercial, San Jose,  taking place on 08/07/2031:

Clearly Los Moreco Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vicente Medero (8 - 0) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Jose Merlin(2 - 1 - 2) from Santa Ana, El Salvador.  Both Medero and Merlin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Manuel Borromeo, Ivan Rada and Vicente Pareja.  

Round 1: 

Medero steps inside.  Medero pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.
