Evgeny Ponkrashov vs Marlen Kovalik

Boxing Daily Report from the Shongwe Promotions promoted show at Konstantin Suleymanov Gym, Berezniki,  taking place on 29/06/2031:

Clearly Shongwe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Perm Krai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evgeny Ponkrashov (7 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Perm, Russia and Marlen Kovalik(5 - 7(1)) from Perm, Russia.  Ponkrashov weighed in at 121 pounds And 5 ounces, while Kovalik weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sasha Markow, and the three ringside judges are Pyotr Makeyev, Melor Voronin and Borya Lobanov.
