Paul Imlay vs Sam Downey

Boxing Daily Report from the Valor Boxing Championship promoted show at Sam Stealey Gym, Savannah,  taking place on 02/06/2031:

Clearly Valor Boxing Championship have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Imlay (19 - 12(1) - 2) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Sam Downey(17 - 2(1)) from Augusta, USA.  Both Imlay and Downey weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Wigton, and the three ringside judges are Brad Bee, Noel Lawther and Richard Rutherford.  

Round 1: 

Downey lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Imlay pivots to the right of his opponent.  Downey hits home with a cross.  
Downey manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Downey lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Downey holds on to his opponent.  Downey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
