Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Labi, Kumasi,  taking place on 01/07/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Morgan Boamponsem (22(1) - 8(5)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Peabo Ofosu(22(12) - 9(6)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Boamponsem and Ofosu weighed in at 154 pounds.

Ofosu stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Boamponsem attempts to land a right hook, but Ofosu parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Boamponsem throws a right hook, but Ofosu holds on to his opponent.  Boamponsem is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Boamponsem about fouling.
