Zack Hughson vs Arnie Aitkens

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Florida promoted show at Brickhouse Boxing Club, Tallahassee,  taking place on 01/07/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Florida Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zack Hughson (13 - 16(6) - 3) who hails from Miami, USA and Arnie Aitkens(25(8) - 4(2) - 1) from Gainesville, USA.  Hughson weighed in at 140 pounds, while Aitkens weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leo Couch, and the three ringside judges are Mark Briden, Colin Elder and Paul Maskell.  

Round 1: 

Aitkens is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Aitkens holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Aitkens pushes his forearm into Hughson's face.  The referee warns Aitkens and breaks the clinch.  
Hughson steps to the outside.  Aitkens lands a sharp jab.  
Hughson tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Aitkens steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Aitkens hits home with a left hook.  
Aitkens lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Aitkens clinches his opponent.  Aitkens leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Aitkens's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hughson tries to land a right uppercut, but Aitkens blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Hughson is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Aitkens attempts to land an overhand right, but Hughson parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
