Hilario Ribeiro vs Ricardo Alva

Boxing Daily Report from the Ebrahimyan Promotions promoted show at Porto Alegre Rocha, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 14/06/2031:

Clearly Ebrahimyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hilario Ribeiro (12 - 12(1) - 1) who hails from Natal, Brazil and Ricardo Alva(9 - 19 - 5) from Natal, Brazil.  Both Ribeiro and Alva weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Napoles, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Silvas, Oleos Gabriel and Ivan David.  

Round 1: 

Alva tries to land a cross, but Ribeiro sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Alva is looking to close the distance.  Ribeiro pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Ribeiro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ribeiro manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Ribeiro sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alva connects with a cross.  
Ribeiro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ribeiro throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Alva's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Alva lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ribeiro's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Alva's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
