Rehan Salame vs Rashid Youssef

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 26/07/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehan Salame (24(20) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Rashid Youssef(27(3) - 10(3)) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Salame and Youssef weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Baten, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Sinai, Waqar Sabir and Rehan Azam.  

Round 1: 

Salame is on target with a jab.  
Salame quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Youssef lands a straight 1 - 2.  Youssef throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Salame tries to keep the action at long range.  Youssef sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Salame drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Youssef lands a stinging jab.  
Salame lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Youssef recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Youssef steps inside.  Salame lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Salame is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Salame steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Youssef steps inside and manouvers Salame onto the ropes.  Youssef pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Youssef connects with a cross.  
Youssef pivots to the side of his opponent.  Youssef throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a weighty right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE YOUSSEF WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Youssef almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Youssef drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Salame attempts to land a jab, but Youssef slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Salame sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Youssef lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Youssef lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Youssef is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  Youssef attempts to land a jab, but Salame blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Salame's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Salame tries to step out of his opponents range.  Salame feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND YOUSSEF IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
The right shot from Salame could be enough to force the stoppage!  Salame lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS YOUSSEF TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Salame lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, KNOCKING YOUSSEF DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Youssef can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Salame!
