Quito Lobos vs Xavier Melgoza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Angel Gimenez Gym, Manta,  taking place on 18/07/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quito Lobos (4 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Xavier Melgoza(4 - 14 - 1) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Lobos and Melgoza weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Malo, Rio Lona and Dario Cruz.  

Round 1: 

Lobos is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Lobos's ribcage.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Melgoza dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Melgoza closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Lobos is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Melgoza walks Lobos down, trapping him in the corner.  Melgoza sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lobos lands a left uppercut.  
Lobos steps to the outside.  Melgoza hits home with a cross.
