Valeray Montillet vs Paul Ouimet

Boxing Daily Report from the Chobeka Promotions promoted show at Montgomery Calmat Gym, Grenoble,  taking place on 19/07/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Rhone-Alpes Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valeray Montillet (8 - 3 - 3) who hails from Lyon, France and Paul Ouimet(13(1) - 6 - 1) from Lyon, France.  Montillet weighed in at 228 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ouimet weighed in at 227 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marc Bayne, and the three ringside judges are Gerald Gillard, Didier de Laroche and Boyce Jacob.  

Round 1: 

Ouimet closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ouimet gets on the inside.  Montillet throws a left hook, but Ouimet holds on to his opponent.  Ouimet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Ouimet is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Ouimet lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS MONTILLET TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Montillet now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
