Hayden Balala vs Callum Mervyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kamakya, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/06/2031:

Clearly Konga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Balala (12 - 12(5) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Callum Mervyn(15 - 11(1) - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Balala weighed in at 176 pounds and 4 ounces, while Mervyn weighed in at 175 pounds.    As Balala came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Noah Odoyo, and the three ringside judges are Richie Bitok, Shaun Arusei and Kyrone Koimbori.
