Alberto Serbandini vs Silvano Abella

Boxing Daily Report from the Mutati Promotions promoted show at Sergio Di Guilio Gym, Rome,  taking place on 22/07/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lazio Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alberto Serbandini (8 - 1 - 2) who hails from Rome, Italy and Silvano Abella(19 - 9(1) - 2) from Rome, Italy.  Serbandini weighed in at 140 pounds, while Abella weighed in at 139 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luca Finocchiaro, and the three ringside judges are Giuseppe Balotelli, Alberto Parodi and Colombo Ferrante.  

Round 1: 

Abella advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Abella attempts to land a cross, but Serbandini sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Abella steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Abella lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Serbandini wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abella dabs at his face checking for damage.  
As Abella tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Serbandini.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
