Asif Hatem vs Malik Asad

Boxing Daily Report from the Mayat Promotions promoted show at Medina Bukhari, Medina,  taking place on 22/07/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia-West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Hatem (14 - 14(1) - 5) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Malik Asad(11(4) - 0) from Taif, Saudi Arabia.  Both Hatem and Asad weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Jawahir, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Jahid, Umair Alabi and Haider Salaam.  

Round 1: 

Asad gets on the inside.  Asad leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Hatem tries to tag Asad on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Hatem switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Asad sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
