Ulises Vidrio vs Vicente Miers

Boxing Daily Report from the Bawuah Promotions promoted show at Chipancingo Dimas, Chipancingo,  taking place on 25/06/2031:

Clearly Bawuah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulises Vidrio (11 - 8 - 6) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Vicente Miers(19(3) - 6) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Vidrio weighed in at 126 pounds, while Miers weighed in at 125 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Bedoya, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Gracia, Alejandro Rayos and Jerrold Santibanez.  

Round 1: 

Miers is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Miers gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Vidrio's ribs.  
Miers drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Vidrio closes the distance.  Miers drives a right hook into Vidrio's body.  
Miers lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Miers gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Vidrio lands a right hook.  
Miers lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Miers advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Miers drives a left hook into Vidrio's ribs.  Miers wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vidrio dabs at his face checking for damage.

Miers digs in a stinging left hook to Vidrio's ribs.  
Miers is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Miers forces Vidrio to back into a neutral corner.  Miers pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Miers drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Miers manouvers Vidrio into the blue corner.  Miers lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Miers steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Miers closes the distance and forces Vidrio to retreat onto the ropes.  Miers drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Miers is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.

Miers throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Miers attempts to land a right hook, but Vidrio dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Miers whips in a big right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE VIDRIO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Miers holds on to his opponent.  Vidrio tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Miers's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Miers senses Vidrio is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Miers lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS VIDRIO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Vidrio has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vidrio's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Miers advances into close range.  Miers sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Vidrio's body.

Miers drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Vidrio switches the action to the outside.  Vidrio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Miers lands a jab.  
Miers is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Miers ties up his opponent.  Miers is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Some sustained pressure from Miers could be enough to finish Vidrio!  Miers crashes a big right hook to his opponents ribs.  VIDRIO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Vidrio has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Miers digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Miers clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Miers pushes his forearm into Vidrio's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Miers is on target with a right hook to Vidrio's body.  
Miers lands a sharp right hook.  Miers tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Miers hits home with a right hook.  Miers ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Miers pushes his forearm into Vidrio's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miers about fouling.

Miers pivots to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Miers dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Miers dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Miers.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.

Miers gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
