Percy Yourcenar vs Michel Ethier

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Haiti-Ouest promoted show at Port-au-Prince Baute, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 22/07/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Haiti Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Percy Yourcenar (12 - 14 - 4) who hails from Delmas, Haiti and Michel Ethier(13(5) - 0) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Yourcenar weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ethier weighed in at 139 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marshall Beatrice, and the three ringside judges are Horace Oran, Charles Filipacchi and Garner de Balzac.  

Round 1: 

Ethier gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ethier gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Ethier clinches his opponent.  Yourcenar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ethier pushes his forearm into Yourcenar's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Ethier pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Yourcenar recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Yourcenar throws a right uppercut, but Ethier holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Ethier's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ethier hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Ethier attempts to land a right hook, but Yourcenar slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ethier quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ethier lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ethier lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ethier digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ethier is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Ethier is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ethier forces Yourcenar to back into a corner.  Ethier lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

Yourcenar tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ethier lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Ethier clinches his opponent.  Ethier uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Yourcenar's kidney. 
Ethier lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Ethier walks Yourcenar onto the ropes.  Ethier hits home with a cross.  
Yourcenar closes the distance.  Ethier lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Ethier pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a nasty right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE YOURCENAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Yourcenar quickly recovers.

Ethier is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Ethier connects with a big left uppercut.  YOURCENAR IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Ethier!
