Enzo Grimaldo vs Rafael Batres

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Gavino, Leon,  taking place on 26/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Leon Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Enzo Grimaldo (4 - 0) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Rafael Batres(11 - 5(1) - 2) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Grimaldo weighed in at 118 pounds, while Batres weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Pan, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Tafoya, Carlos Parras and Marco Sabio.  

Round 1: 

Grimaldo advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Grimaldo drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Grimaldo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Grimaldo pushes his forearm into Batres's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Batres switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Grimaldo throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Grimaldo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Grimaldo pushes his forearm into Batres's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Grimaldo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Grimaldo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Batres dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Grimaldo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Batres's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
