Douglas Baird vs Charlie Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 14/08/2031:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Scotland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (28(5) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Charlie Owen(10 - 13(1) - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Baird and Owen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacLaughlin, and the three ringside judges are Angus Greenaway, Thomas Ryan and Iain MacCracken.  

Round 1: 

Baird closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Baird ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Baird's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Owen tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to Owen's body.  
Baird walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Baird drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Baird ties up his opponent.  Baird pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Baird is looking to close the distance.  Owen throws a right hook, but Baird clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Baird pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The referee warns Baird and breaks the clinch.  
Baird pivots from in front of his opponent.  Owen throws a left uppercut, but Baird ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Owen is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Baird feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Baird closes the distance.  Owen tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Baird closes the distance.  Baird lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baird lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
