Gennady Balakshin vs Dmitri Tyurin

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbalula Promotions promoted show at Yekaterinburg Federoff, Yekaterinburg,  taking place on 11/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Perm Krai Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gennady Balakshin (20(9) - 0) who hails from Perm, Russia and Dmitri Tyurin(12 - 8(3) - 1) from Perm, Russia.  Both Balakshin and Tyurin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pyotr Lampeev, and the three ringside judges are Sergei Obmochaev, Daniil Darin and Aleksei Dobrow.  

Round 1: 

Balakshin steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Tyurin sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Tyurin steps to the outside.  Balakshin lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Balakshin lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Tyurin tries to keep the action at long range.  Balakshin lands with a spiteful jab.  
Balakshin is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  Balakshin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Balakshin pushes his forearm into Tyurin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
