Joey Saam vs Onofre Flores

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 11/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (32(28) - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Onofre Flores(19(1) - 7(3)) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Saam and Flores weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Dunkin, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hyland, Mick Gwilym and Vicente Salido.  

Round 1: 

Flores steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Flores connects with a stinging cross.  
Saam lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Flores advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam pushes his forearm into Flores's face.  The referee warns Saam and breaks the clinch.  
Saam is looking to keep his distance and lands a firm cross.  
Flores attempts to land an overhand left, but Saam slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Flores advances into close range and forces Saam to back into the ropes.  As Saam tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Flores dabs at his face checking for damage.

Flores closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Flores is looking to close the distance.  Flores pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Saam's ribcage.  
Saam lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Saam clinches his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Flores pushes his forearm into Saam's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Flores.

Saam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.
