Diego Mondragon vs Cris Botero

Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Bejarano, Madrid,  taking place on 30/06/2031:

Clearly Sahaghyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Mondragon (6 - 19 - 4) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Cris Botero(7 - 9 - 3) from Madrid, Spain.  Mondragon weighed in at 154 pounds, while Botero weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gabriel Farias, and the three ringside judges are Paco Castilleja, Santiago Cedillo and Diego Sibal.  

Round 1: 

Botero manouvers Mondragon into a corner.  Mondragon lands a left hook.

As Mondragon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Botero has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Botero dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Botero.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.

Botero pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
