Dave Urwin vs Mark Verkko

Boxing Daily Report from the Kugblenu Promotions promoted show at Detroit Garey, Detroit,  taking place on 30/07/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Urwin (10(2) - 2) who hails from Detroit, USA and Mark Verkko(6 - 5 - 3) from Detroit, USA.  Both Urwin and Verkko weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Quigg, and the three ringside judges are Mick Wathen, Jasper Mudie and Louis Orchard.  

Round 1: 

Verkko pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Urwin hits home with an overhand right.  Urwin throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Urwin's body.  
Urwin switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.
