Leonel Verdugo vs Cipriano Serpe

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Arena Barueri, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 31/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leonel Verdugo (22(9) - 6(3)) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Cipriano Serpe(15(2) - 0) from Natal, Brazil.  Both Verdugo and Serpe weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marco Lapa, and the three ringside judges are Neron Salome, Fraco Rico and Luis Araujo.
