Manug Igityan vs Luka Volk

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Maison du Citoyen, Gaineau,  taking place on 23/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manug Igityan (19(17) - 1) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Luka Volk(23 - 4(2)) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  Both Igityan and Volk weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Leys, and the three ringside judges are Carvell Brame, James Dunlap and Michael Patillo.  

Round 1: 

Volk steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Volk gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Igityan's ribs.  
Igityan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Igityan tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Volk sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Volk advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Igityan is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Igityan steps to the outside.  Volk lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Volk lands a jab.  
Volk advances into close range.  Volk pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Volk is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Volk sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Volk is on target with a left hook.  Igityan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Igityan pushes his forearm into Volk's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Igityan steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Igityan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Volk gets on the inside and manages to force Igityan onto the ropes.  Volk lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Igityan clinches his opponent.  Igityan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Volk's kidney. 
Volk is on target with a jab.  
Igityan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid overhand left.  
Volk sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Volk throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
