Berto Gomez vs Joaquin Barrera

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Ranchete Social Hall, Paterson,  taking place on 16/08/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Gomez (9 - 0) who hails from Huacho, Peru and Joaquin Barrera(5 - 7 - 1) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Gomez and Barrera weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Giunti, and the three ringside judges are Theo Halley, Ian Leaper and Paul Bett.  

Round 1: 

Gomez steps inside.  Gomez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gomez is on target with a right hook.  Gomez holds on to his opponent.  Gomez pushes his forearm into Barrera's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
