Mark Bard vs Robert Ferry

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Vancouver Stackpoole, Vancouver,  taking place on 26/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Canada-British Columbia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Bard (10 - 1) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Robert Ferry(6 - 2 - 1) from Vancouver, Canada.  Bard weighed in at 118 pounds, while Ferry weighed in at 117 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Kidd, and the three ringside judges are Will Swanston, Greg Ancrum and Amon Hope.  

Round 1: 

Ferry pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bard lands a stiff jab.  Bard tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Ferry steps inside.  Bard lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As Ferry tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bard dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Bard.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Bard lands two right hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Ferry feints a cross, and then attempts to land a jab, but Bard dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.
