Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Umi Sibanda Gym, Kitwe,  taking place on 08/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Pat Greenaway (5(2) - 0) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Walenty Smolka(1 - 0) from Vilnius, Lithuania.  Both Greenaway and Smolka weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kwau Kozlowiecki, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Jobe, Napoleon Mwaanga and Udenwa Mhani.  

Round 1: 

Smolka lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Greenaway switches the action to the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Smolka recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Greenaway steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Smolka tries to land a jab, but Greenaway blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Greenaway is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Greenaway sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Smolka strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Greenaway lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Smolka drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Greenaway steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Greenaway lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Smolka quickly recovers. 
Greenaway lands a solid cross.  
Greenaway sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Smolka tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Smolka lands a left uppercut, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Greenaway tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid jab.  
Smolka manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Smolka tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Greenaway steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND SMOLKA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Smolka almost instantly gets his legs back.
