Jay Cron vs Neil Riddick

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Toronto Munro, Toronto,  taking place on 16/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Cron (13 - 19(3) - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Neil Riddick(11 - 12(2) - 4) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Cron and Riddick weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Duthie, and the three ringside judges are Bellamy Batiste, Chris Ruskin and Blaise Nolton.  

Round 1: 

Cron connects with a left hook.  Riddick wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cron dabs at his face checking for damage.
