Robert Dabengwa vs Alik Novikov

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 24/08/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Dabengwa (13(6) - 0) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Alik Novikov(19 - 15(4) - 1) from Moscow, Russia.  Dabengwa weighed in at 234 pounds and 5 ounces, while Novikov weighed in at 242 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Carroll, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hearn, Dean Napier and Rory Finnegan.

Dabengwa digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Dabengwa tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dabengwa closes the distance.  Dabengwa pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  NOVIKOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Dabengwa steps inside.  Dabengwa knows Novikov is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Dabengwa lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND NOVIKOV IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Dabengwa!
