Kyo Onishi vs Goro Shibata

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekstein Promotions promoted show at Fukuoka Matsuoka, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/07/2031:

Clearly Ekstein Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo Onishi (22 - 2) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Goro Shibata(9 - 6(1) - 3) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Onishi and Shibata weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Iwasaki, and the three ringside judges are Mikio Iwasaki, Yoshi Ogura and Daichi Sada.  

Round 1: 

Onishi lands a stiff jab.  
Onishi advances into close range.  Onishi pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.
