Kenji Kita vs Mikio Kubota

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Kitakyushu Kobayashi, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 23/07/2031:

Clearly Sam Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Kita (11 - 12(2) - 4) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Mikio Kubota(4 - 11 - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Kita weighed in at 146 pounds and 4 ounces, while Kubota weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Shimabukuro, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Murata, Hisao Kamei and Goro Koizumi.
