Majid Siddique vs Waqar Irani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Alborz promoted show at Karaj Jabbar, Karaj,  taking place on 21/08/2031:

Clearly AI Iran-Alborz have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Alborz Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Siddique (18 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Waqar Irani(11 - 9 - 1) from Karaj, Iran.  Siddique weighed in at 126 pounds, while Irani weighed in at 125 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Nagi, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Hariri, Rehan Nazar and Ahmed Barakat.  

Round 1: 

Irani advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Irani is on target with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Siddique has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
