Banji Shikwati vs Davie Gichonga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Nakuru Odoyo, Nakuru,  taking place on 25/07/2031:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nakuru have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Banji Shikwati (21 - 12 - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Davie Gichonga(16 - 3) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Shikwati weighed in at 237 pounds and 6 ounces, while Gichonga weighed in at 242 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Atwoli, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Halaby, Jay Butita and Atif Ghazal.
