Declan Nisbett vs James McCardle

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Ridder Arena, Minneapolis,  taking place on 23/08/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Declan Nisbett (0 - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and James McCardle(1 - 2) from Memphis, USA.  Both Nisbett and McCardle weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Pelle, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Langer, Nathan Langer and Zachary Mattus.  

Round 1: 

Nisbett steps inside.  Nisbett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nisbett steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Nisbett ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nisbett pushes his forearm into McCardle's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nisbett closes the distance.  Nisbett sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  As Nisbett tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCardle dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McCardle connects with a right hook.  
McCardle is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nisbett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
McCardle pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nisbett lands a cross followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Nisbett gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McCardle attempts to land a cross, but Nisbett blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nisbett lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nisbett switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Nisbett tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Nisbett steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCardle's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McCardle's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Nisbett closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nisbett dabs at his face checking for damage.

McCardle switches the action to the outside.  Nisbett feints a right hook, and then lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
McCardle lands a cross.  
Nisbett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a sharp jab.

Nisbett sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Nisbett pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Nisbett is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Nisbett is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Nisbett is looking to close the distance.  McCardle tries to land a left hook, but Nisbett sidesteps and counters with a cross.

That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
