Rob Banter vs Joshua Bagley

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at San Diego Gomez, San Diego,  taking place on 22/08/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Banter (14 - 15 - 7) who hails from San Jose, USA and Joshua Bagley(9 - 14 - 8) from Los Angeles, USA.  Banter weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bagley weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Brash, and the three ringside judges are Nick Erskin, Khalid Shaikh and Dylan Waddell.  

Round 1: 

Bagley steps away from his opponent.  Banter connects with an overhand right.  
Banter sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bagley throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bagley forces Banter to back into a corner.  Bagley lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Banter throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Banter throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Bagley to the neutral corner.  He warns Banter to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.
