Diego Montanez vs Rodrigo Villicana

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Javier Cruz Artes y Oficios, Panama City,  taking place on 08/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Montanez (16(14) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Rodrigo Villicana(23(16) - 2(2) - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Montanez weighed in at 168 pounds, while Villicana weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elias Avalos, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Marquez, Santiago Messa and Vicente Madrid.
