Mzikayise Manamela vs Kyrone Mabokgwane

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Isaac Wolfson stadium, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 30/08/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mzikayise Manamela (16(2) - 3(1)) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Kyrone Mabokgwane(16 - 12(1) - 5) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Manamela and Mabokgwane weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deion Nsoh, and the three ringside judges are Udenwa Kpegah, Dele Hlatshwayo and Musa Majola.  

Round 1: 

Manamela closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Manamela ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Manamela pushes his forearm into Mabokgwane's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Some sustained pressure from Manamela could be enough to finish Mabokgwane!  Manamela lands a cross, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS MABOKGWANE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Mabokgwane cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Manamela!
